OCCUPIED (SEASON 2)

In the near future, Norway is occupied by Russia on behalf of the European Union, due to the fact that the newly elected environmental friendly Norwegian government has stopped the all important oil- and gas-production in the North Sea.

I had the pleasure to grade all eight episodes of the new season, I was also the lead online artist on the online-team.

The client wanted to create a more vibrant cinematic look for season two, and differentiate it from the colder hues of season one. I worked closely with conceptual director / series creator Erik Skjoldbjærg and cinematographer Øystein Mamen to establish a fresh look for the series.

Grading a high-end political drama like this is always a huge undertaking, but it is extremely rewarding to co-operate with the dedicated creatives and help enable their vision. You can all look forward to an thrilling new season.

"Occupied - season 2" will first air exclusively on Viaplay.com throughout Scandinavia from 29. September 2017, and later it will aired on Norwegian TV2 and ARTE France.
