Director Henrik M. Dahlsbakken is a great example of a creative and very productive filmmaker.
He has written, directed and produced several short films in the recent years, all of which have been noticed at film festivals around the world.
His previous short, "The Devil´s Ballroom", won the prize for the best live action short at Palm Springs International ShortFest 2012.
Which in turn automatically places the film in to the race for a nomination as "best short film" at the Oscars. Only time will tell how that goes, but I´m crossing my fingers!
I was really pleased to finally work with him on his latest short "A priest and a plague".
The short was shot by DOP Espen Glomsvoll on RED Epic with Cooke Lenses.
We meet a disloyal priest that faces the might of God, where he has to face the consequences for his deeds.
Will he face eternal doom, or is there still time to save himself and be forgiven by the All Mighty?
I hope to be able to work more with Dahlsbakken in future. He is a great guy and has lots of cool projects on the horizon.
