Henrik is in his mid-thirties, has a serious relationship with his broody girlfriend, but still likes to party like he's eighteen.
When life gets to hard he finds it comforting to escape from realty by visiting his mother, where lays around on the couch drinking chocolate milk.

Martin Lund wrote and directed this quirky movie. Even before the official release date, "The Almost Man" won the Grand Prix Crystal Globe at the
Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2012 and actor Henrik Rafaelsen won the award as best actor.

I had the pleasure to handle the online editing and some of the vfx-shots.
The vfx-work mainly included invisible fixes where the director Lund and cinemaphotographer Morten Halfstad Forsberg wanted to either
add or remove elements to a scene.

The movie was made on a shoe-string budget, but looks and feels like a million bucks. Great dark Scandinavian humour.
