"Folk som faller" (People Who Fall) is a sweet, yet quircy short film about how people during their lives, fall over and manage to pick themselves up again.
It might sound a bit strange, but think about it again. We all have our ups and downs in life. As long as you can get up again, and learn from it, all is good.
Both the director Bobbie Peers and the screenwriters, Per Schreiner and Bjørn Olaf Johannesen are established film makers.
Peers won Norway's first gold palm at the Cannes International Film Festival 2006 for his short film "Sniffer".
Johannesen is currently working with director Win Wenders on his next project.
I enjoyed grading with cinematographer Jakob Ingimundarson, he simply loves shooting on film. It was cool to grade 35mm film again, it is very seldom these days.
Ingimundarson is a established dop, his work ranges from commercials, tv-drama and feature films.
He shot one of my favorite Norwegian TV-dramas, called "Buzz Aldrin". Beautifully shot on film. I love the look!
"Folk som faller" is currently being sent to a number of festivals, be sure to check it out!
