Torgny Segerstedt was one of the leading journalists in Sweden in the 20th century.
He fought a one man battle against Hitler and the Nazi regime until his death in 1945.
The Last Sentence (Dom över död mann) weaves together a psychological love story with a portrayal of the political situation Sweden found itself in during
the Second World War. A gripping, dramatic and poetic tale about a man, who could not be silenced.
The film is directed by Jan Troell, a legend in modern Scandinavian film.
Troell usually writes his own scripts and is heavily involved in creating the lyrical photography his films are known for.
The movie was graded by senior colorist Julien Alary with cinematographer Mischa Gavrjusjov and Jan Troell.
I had the pleasure to handle the online and VFX. Additional VFX shots were done Joel Bringmark (ShortCut) and Storm Studios.
The movie was beautifully shot with the Arri Alexa. The film's premiere is on the 7th of December 2012.
