I work as a full-time Colourist at Nordisk Film ShortCut in Oslo, Norway.
My primary area is grading feature films, TV-drama, commercials, music promos, and documentaries.
All though my main area is colourgrading, I also can do online editing and compositing work if needed.
I've been in the post-production business since 1997, and I have acquired an experienced creative eye and a solid technical skillset for image manipulation.
My education includes TV / Film - production (Lillehammer University College) and computer science (Gjøvik University College).
Apart from being a total film-nerd, I also love the psychology and aesthetics of color, technology, graphical design, playing guitar, writing music and going to concerts.
The past 15 years or so, I have been a guest-teacher at a number of Norwegian universities and held on-site tuition for a number of production companies here in Norway.
Primarily concerning the subjects of color grading with DaVInci Resolve, the aesthetics of grading, Digital theory and Workflow, and Adobe After Effects.
More details concerning tuition can be found on my training page.
It's always extremely inspirational to teach, because you get plenty of unexpected questions, which in turn challenge you to think differently.
I have had the pleasure to work on a lot of very interesting projects and have met tons of great people who love making movies in all shapes and sizes.
Please get in touch if you have finishing needs for your production or just need to learn more about the craft of image post-production.
