In "90 Minutes" we follow three men, all of which are in different stages of their lives.
They have one thing in common. They have major difficulties maintaining a stable life.
We witness their final moments before they make life changing choices for themselves and their loved ones.
Director Eva Sørhaug tells a strong story about what happens within the privacy off four walls.
We have all overheard arguments in neighbouring homes and read about so called "personal tragedies" in the news.
What are the reasons for domestic violence and murder between family members? Why is talking about the subject so tabu?
Hopefully this movie will help lift the subject up in to the light of day, and start an important discussion.
Working in close collaboration with the director, ShortCut Norway handled the sound design, grading, online and vfx for the project.
My main responsibility was doing the online editing and making the vfx-shots as seamless as possible.
The vfx involved removing unwanted elements, but also adding content to TV-screens,
adding blood to important shots to enhance the story and designing the opening titles.
"90 minutes" has it's Norwegian premiere September 21st 2012.
The international premiere was at the Toronto International Film Festival which was held between 6 - 16th September 2012.
The movie has received excellent critics from both the international and domestic press!
